CRAZY GIRL!!

Once again, my child shocks me. Today, after her nap, Sophie decided to throw away her binkie. She's done it before, but never left it in there. Tonight, she went to bed without even asking for it. CRAZY!!! I'll be really surprised if she doesn't say anything about it tomorrow, but obviously I shouldn't be.

Earlier today, Sophie, Daddy, and I were all being silly on my bed. Sophie was jumping up and down and recently she's been saying this weird word when she's jumping. It sounds like "MACKO." I was asking her where she heard the word. Do Little Einsteins say it? Wiggles? Do the monkeys who announce the next shows say it? She kept saying no. So, then I started singing the song the monkeys and the kids sing (you would know it if your kids watch Disney). "ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ahh. ooh ooh ooh ooh ah ah." (or whatever it is). Then Sophie says, "and coming up next." Adam and I started cracking up so hard we cried. It was the most hilarious thing she's ever said/done. Adam said, um, I think our kid watches too much tv. I'm kind of glad she's at the age where she can communicate more. Maybe she'll say more funny things like that and provide more entertainment. She has a big vocabulary and enunciates pretty well, but she usually communicates about things that are happening or things she wants or she repeats what we say. She doesn't normally say things out of the blue like that. So funny!!! It was nice to have some family fun time and see Sophie bouncing up and down and having fun (despite waking up at 5:15 AM!!).
