MORE UPDATE

I'm healed! The hole in my ear drum has closed and no more fluid got in there. So, hopefully it stays that way. I didn't do a hearing test. I know I don't have 100% hearing in that ear, but it might be close. I'm used to it now....I think. I might not sleep as deep, but that could be from other things too - like crappy nausea.

Pregnancy update...I'm SO anxious to find out how far along I am. My ultrasound is on the 30th and I hope I'm no less than 10 weeks. I looked up my pregnancy week to see what was going on right now and baby is about the size of a blueberry and feet and hands have started forming. So weird to think about! I puke about once a day. Today, in the Taco Bell drive thru. I felt really bad for the people sitting in their car behind me, but I couldn't really go anywhere else. SICK! I usually feel pretty good at night, but have to go to bed by 9 since my child is waking up by 6 AM lately. I wish she were having a growth spurt all the time because she sleeps so much longer. Ugh! Today she only napped for about 40 minutes. Luckily, my super hero husband took her downstairs to watch a show. Only one though. He thinks she watches too much tv. So, at least my nap was just over an hour. I'm craving weird food. Like Cream of Wheat. But, I remembered eating it when I was pregnant with Sophie too. Adam hates the smell of it, but no worries this time around. I'm eating it at 6 AM when he's still asleep. I love love love beef right now. There's a Mexican restaurant out here in Eagle Mountain and I haven't loved it before, but it must be because I was ordering chicken entrees. I ordered beef tacos the other day and they were HEAVENLY!!! I think we will survive off that place this pregnancy. I went for beef tacos at Taco Bell today and they totally sucked. I need to stick to Crunch Wrap Supreme when I go there. I eat pickles a lot and cheese and totally want junk food (like twinkies - sick, I know). Luckily we don't really have much of that in our house, so I'm not a heffer just yet. Although, the nausea has prevented me from getting in any exercise so the waste line is looking a bit flubbery. Diet Coke sounds lovely all the time too, but it's not around, so I don't fall prey to the craving.

Back to my SUPER HERO husband!!!! He's constantly helping out with Sophie. In fact, I only changed one poopy diaper yesterday (she's producing about three a day lately). He cleans up the kitchen and is absolutely wonderful in every way possible. Here's a silly picture of us on our first date (we ate Subway in the park and then hiked the Y).

Some of you have been asking about my first loaf of bread....not so great! But, I'm just getting to know the breadmaker, so I wasn't heartbroken. The entire outside was nearly burned and the crust was too think and hard. I haven't touched it since.

Binkie: Sophie fell asleep that one night (Saturday night) without the bink, but then woke up at 3 am and was up until 6 am when I finally said, Sophie, I'll dig your binkie out of the trash and you can have it. She was asleep within minutes.

Sophie's new thing today is saying "Holy Crap." Most of the time she uses it appropriately, like when her cup of pencils fell over and spilled out, but sometimes she says it over and over to get a reaction out of me. Obviously it's time for Mommy to watch what she says around the sweet little rugrat.

I'm sorry you are feeling yucky still! I hated that the most but know exactly what you mean about the taco bell experience!! I did that in Scotland on the side of the road & some teenagers were walking by. I can't remember what they said but it was so funny I almost choked!! HAHA! Good luck with everything!

I tell ya, you sound just like me when you write. I absolutely despise being pregnant so I totally understand the throwing up in public and nausea. Is Sophie still off the binkie? I've been trying to get rid of those things for a while, but I cave everytime they start screaming at me. Oh and the junk food, go for it. You can blame every pound on the pregnancy. It's the only time in your life you can get away with it. Take care.
