He sleeps.....on the table.

Oh boy! That Landon man has been expressing his independence. Saturday night, he refused to stay in bed. He just kept climbing out. I chose to let him lay down next to me on the couch, but I ignored him. I was so exhausted. I would've gone to bed, but Adam was at a soccer game, so I had to stay up until Landon was ready to give in to the exhaustion I know he was feeling too. He finally came to his senses and fell asleep at 10 PM - THREE hours after bedtime! Then, he woke up at 6 AM climbed out of bed and ran downstairs saying, "Mommy, Manny?! Mommy, Manny?!" I didn't put Manny in bed with him. He loves Manny. See:

He was so cranky before church, I thought there was no way he was going. But, he did and he was super happy. He loves nursery now. We came home and he was cranky again, barely got through his sandwich and laid his head on the table to sleep. That folks, is a first. Adam rolled his eyes when I took a pic :) I had to share with you! And capture the memory of his first major consequence to independence....lol :)

I was so cranky yesterday morning too and worried about my lesson in Relief Society. I was teaching Eternal Families from the Gospel Principles manual. I knew I was going to be a little emotional since we had just been to Annelise's wedding. It turned out to be the most fun lesson I've ever taught. Everyone shared fabulous tips and funny stories, I even grabbed a pen to take some notes on their ideas. It's funny to think that when I first started teaching the RS, it seriously made me so nervous I felt like throwing up. Now I don't get nervous at all. I'm grateful that I've been able to grow into this calling. I still have a lot to learn, but I'm having a fun time along the way!
