Tonight, we had the missionaries over for dinner. One of them is from India - hence, he has very dark skin. Sophie kept asking him why his skin was so dark and he joked with her saying he was dirty and needed a shower. She was so baffled that he didn't get his fork dirty from his hands. She was totally inspecting it. I don't know why she's never noticed the black boys in our neighborhood or said something any other time. We have friends who are brown, I guess she just has never seen someone quite so black?! Anyway, he handled it really well and I think she finally understood that people can be all shades of brown.

Landon had a ball with these guys - dragging them around. I always knew he'd enjoy having pets, just didn't think he'd ever "walk a missionary." He thought it was hilarious! I'll post a video of it soon.
