I sure am cloth diapering and loving every green minute of it (green as in save the world and my pocket book, not green poop...although there has been some of that too).
I love it so much, I'm pretty sure I convinced my bro and sis-in-law who do not yet have babies to go the cloth diapering route as well.
I'm using bleached prefolds and Thirsties covers. I got both the velcro and snap. I prefer the snap ones that I can adjust. They fit both L and S. I do also like bumGenius pocket diapers and kept a couple of those from my trial with Jillians Drawers because L's poo stained the inserts.
This is a whole new foreign world to me, but I'm learning quickly and enjoying it. Not just for the green and financial aspects, but also because I'm now disgusted by disposable diapers and my kids leak almost every night in disposables. I still have a few I'm trying to get through and they suck.
The end.
Answers to B. Surfers questions :)
So what's the cost break down for cloth vs disposable? According to Jillians Drawers, "Depending on which cloth diapering system you decide to use, you can save approximately $1,500 per child. If you decide to use the same cloth diapers for two children, you can save $4,000!" My own notes: I'm using Thirsties covers that fit both Sophie and Landon. Sophie still wears diaps at night. So, I won't have to buy anymore covers until I have a newborn. My covers won't fit a baby smaller than Landon. I have 10 covers and 16 prefolds. Sometimes, if Landon poops and doesn't pee and it doesn't get on the cover, I'll just switch out prefolds, so I don't need as many covers as I have prefolds. On a normal day, L probably wears 5 diaps, so I'll do laundry every other night and not wash until he's wearing the last dry one. I may end up getting a couple more covers. I'll use these same diaps for future kids, so total, after I buy more diapers for my newborn, I may spend about $450 total. This is just a guess and I'll need more newborn diaps than the bigger ones since newborns poop a zillion times a day.
And how many cloth diapers are you buying for your supply, and how often are you doing a load of diapers in washing machine? And how much are the liners you have put inside the cloth diapers, b/c don't you throw that part away? I'm not using liners. I have a shower head that detaches and reaches over my toilet, so I just spray them off. You can buy a diaper sprayer that attaches to your toilet for just $40 if you don't have a shower head that reaches over your toilet. It's totally not as gross as it sounds. Most L's poo just flips right out into the toilet. Incentive for me to feed him good protein sources.

I still think you are brave!
