HICK GENES AND DRIVE THROUGH

I used to have a pretty bad hick accent growing up in Hoosier land. Here's the funny thing. Sophie totally talks the same way. Map sounds like may-ap and bay-ack pay-ack. I don't sound like such a hick anymore, so we're wondering....is there a hick gene?

Now that Landon is a little squirm worm and army crawling all over the place, he apparently thinks mommy has a drive-through window as he is often attempting to eat on the run when I'm nursing him.

Just my random mothering thoughts for the day. I should also mention that my darling children played quietly while watching Winnie the Pooh's Grand Adventure in my room while I napped. Oh the loveliness it was!

P.S. Thanks a bazillion for your suggestions on homemade baby food. I hope to get to that in the next few weeks!!

I totally remember laughing at Alaria's "accent". she did the same thing - it is SO cute! Don't worry, it went away all by itself :)

Haven still has her Boston accent even though we never lived in Boston...someday she'll be able to say "r". Sophie will sound like a Utahn soon enough...and I've never thought of you having a hick accent....funny.

the Vaisey's swear they hear the midwest twang in my speech, but i am convinced it doesn't exist. Maybe I'm in denial?
