LIVING ROOM
So, we're putting in the new living room floor today. The hangup with my idea to put the desk downstairs is that my PC is not wireless. Our internet is up here, so I wouldn't have internet on my PC which I do need every now and then. And, our wireless router and printer would need to stay up here where the internet jack is. BOO. I don't think I can put the desk downstairs.

Go get a wireless router Nish! Dont let that stop you! They are less than $100!
You could get a usb wireless adapter for your computer. Adam says they can cost $20 - $100. He spent 25 on ours and it works really great.
i have a card you can have! if it will work for you..it's yours! it is a brand new wireless G PCI Adapter made by Linksys. It is still in the box..with the shrink wrap!! BRAND NEW! Let me know.
Bummer! You could get a computer desk that closes and looks like an armour. So it doesn't look bad when you are not using your computer.
