(These kiddos had so much fun jumping in the leaves. If this picture doesn't make you smile - you're crazy :)
In the Fall, we had family pictures taken with my family. For my birthday, I got some really cute frames from RodWorks and I now have these pics in the frames. My living room walls and furniture are in place. We still need to put baseboards back up, but it feels more like home than my house has ever felt. It's amazing how much of a difference flooring can make.

On a somewhat related note - I need your opinion. The cause of our house flood was the reverse osmosis filtration system we had under our kitchen sink. We haven't re-installed it quite frankly because we're ticked at the menacing thing, but one unfortunate result of that is yucky water. Which obviously results in us drinking less water. Not exactly healthy. I've been buying 1 liter bottles from Costco. Sorry environment. That's not very green or frugal of us, so we're looking at the options. Buy the Brita filters for the Britta pitcher we already have? Buy a water dispenser (Culligan type)? Or re-install the filtration system? What would be dreamy is one of those pH changing thingamajigs, but I think they run about a grand. Have any of you researched the cheapest way to get tasty water? In addition to overall cost, we need to factor in the effort it takes in stocking the supplies and maintenance. What's your 2 cents?

The Burleighs have a RAD RAD RAD water system...It's pricey, but the benefits are AMAZING!! (We have been getting extra water from them to try...It's the BEST tasting...) The system gives you a tons of options...drinking water, cleaning water, water to gargle when your throat hurts, etc.
Yeah Laura, that's the thingamajig I was referring to.
YOur pictures are Super cute!!
About your water we just have a water softner and I don't think our water tastes funny, Kelly does unless its cold - so unless you don't mind refilling the water supply all the time then do the cheap way (and the way it wont flood your kitchen again) and do brita... but the flitration system is handy.
