My kitchen floor got torn up today and my living room now looks like a cramped studio apartment. I never imagined we'd be spending the last few days before Christmas tiling our kitchen floor. Good thing I always get my shopping done early, huh?!?! The good news is, my kitchen should be back in place with lovely new tile before Christmas morning. It's been a wild week since we've returned from Cancun. The flooring we wanted for the living room was special order, so we won't have another makeover until the end of January and luckily, that should only be a one day project!
Tell me about your holiday nuttiness. Anything unexpected come up in your neck of the woods?

Just that I've been more sick than I have in years and years, plus yesterday I found out one of ours has pneumonia and two have strep throat. Yikes, we are staying in and staying warm. But like you, I was finished, so all is well.
Sorry about the house, but I'm excited for how good it will look when it is finished! Merry Christmas cute friend!
Wow, you seem to be handling it all really well. I would be going slightly crazy. But the excitement of a new floor would probably out weigh that. I wish I could tell you that something crazy happened to us to make you feel better but it hasn't. We are dealing with kids that are starting to get sick. Tis the season I guess. Merry Christmas!
