a) Heather is a reader. She learns from the experts and applies what is sensible in her life. I'm a fan of readers :)
b) She's balanced. While this blog is going to be focused on being frugal, it's not going to be an over-the-top, here's how to save every possible dime, etc. blog (I'll probably stop reading The Simple Dollar and Deal Seeking Mom now that I have Parsimonious Princess. Those other two were kind of over-the-top. I'm not the type to cut coupons to get crap for free that I wouldn't normally eat/use and there's no way I'm making my own homemade laundry detergent to save $70 a year. Let's be sensible people. My time is better spent doing other things). So, I'm looking forward to the balance.
c) Heather is just one of those quintessential moms/wifes/women who strives to be great in many things (even her own personal things) which I adore in women. It's all about balancing all our roles, so I'm excited to read anything she's all about.
Other exciting things from today:
1. Sophie fell asleep on the way home from my prenatal visit and transferred easily to the loveseat and I napped on the couch. Ahhh....I love a nap (which is why I'm still up at 10:30)!
2. We booked Cancun for Christmas! Okay, really Dec 6-13th, but it counts as our Christmas vacation. I can't tell you how excited I am to build sand castles with Sophie. She's never been to the beach yet!!! Now, I just need to score a sweet sandcastle building set before they're all gone, because I'm sure I won't find one in December. (P.S. Remind me after I deliver baby that I need to move on the whole SSN and Passport thing QUICK!)
3. My house cleaners are coming tomorrow, which made today exciting because I didn't fret about how dirty my house is.
THE END

P.S. If you haven't visited in the last 24 hours, keep scrolling down. Baby update and new pics below :) Yes, I'm a blogging addict...especially today :)

Wow, Nisha! I'm blushing! Seriously, that's so nice of you to say all that. Thanks for helping me spread the word - I'm really excited about the new blog. It's going to be a fun adventure, I think.
I am really excited about Heather's new blog too. I think it will be a great resource for women. Let me also add just how jealous I am that you are going to Cancun in December. What a great way to spend not only the holiday season, but your birthday and anniversary season as well.
Wow, so jealous about your Cancun vacation! That will be so fun for you guys! I'll have to check out your friend's blog...sounds like a great place for information, advice, ideas, and inspiration!
