BEACH PREP

Since I've never taken a little one to the beach before, help me to know what I need. I don't have much time left before summer stuff is all out of stock.

1) Baby sunscreen
2) Hats for both kids
3) Sunglasses
4) Swimsuits
5) Life jacket for Sophie
6) Swim ring for Sophie
7) Sandcastle kit

What else?

Beach Sandals that can go in the ocean would be helpful! And of course a couple of swimsuits.

I'm jealous...I want to go back to Mexico!

You don't need much, really, besides what you listed. Except a good little shovel and a bucket. Max LOVED digging in the sand more than anything at the beach in North Carolina and California last year.

Beach umbrella to keep the baby out of the sun. Swim diapers, mesh bag or bag of some sort to put sand toys in.

Ya a bucket or cup,you might find little crabs you can catch! Umbrella or chairs if you are staying long, swim diapers A MUST! Dont wear your favortie swim suit, there will be permanent sand stuck in whatever you wear!

Not sure I'll need swim diapers. I was thinking the three month old probably wouldn't want to get in the water...maybe he/she will. Sophie is safe, but we have plenty still in her size anyway. I guess baby might like it. Okay, better get the small size.

Instead of an umbrella, you should do a small play tent. They keep sand off the kid, and shade all the way around. Plus they're easier to carry.
