Wow, what a busy time!
Adam has been swamped with extra freelance work for LDS book publishers. They have their convention in August, so there is always a ton of last minute efforts to get books out. He also picked up a new client, has been doing some wedding announcements for people, and also expanding his skills to learn web design.
Nisha has been working on finishing up accessories to go in baby's room as well as working on getting certified to lead weight loss groups. I should have my certification by around August 10th, so I'm trying to decide if I want to start the first group before baby comes or wait until after. I'm super excited to launch this part of my business, so I don't want to wait. We'll see how things unfold! We will have a virtual support group, so any of you out of towners that want to take advantage of this program, stay tuned for more info.
Sophie has been busy learning songs. She absolutely loves to sing and knows the first verse to I Am A Child of God, Love at Home, and I Love to see the Temple as well as many other typical childrens songs. She's impressive and sings the correct notes. She also loves to spend time snuggling Mommy and Baby! She pulls my shirt up all the time to talk to, hug and kiss baby. She's getting excited to be a big sister.
Baby is GROWING! Holy big belly, I'm not kidding you. Shirts that fit me fine a couple weeks ago are super tight. My belly is so low that it's hard to get dressed in the morning, because not many of my shirts are long enough to cover my entire protruding belly. Baby often feels like it has a million arms and legs, especially at night when doing acrobatics while Mommy attempts to sleep. I have another appointment in a week and we'll attempt again to see if baby is a girl or boy. As of tomorrow, I have 6 weeks left and time sure is flying by.
As a family, we have enjoyed gardening this summer. Last night, we dug up our entire front area of flowers so we can grow strawberries and raspberries. Flowers are so overrated anyway, right?!?! We'll use our square foot garden for veggies and have the front area for berries. We are so excited!! My moms neighbor invited us over to pick raspberries and it was hilarious to see Sophie inhale them as fast as we could pick them. We are looking forward to spending time enjoying these fruits right off the plant in the future. While we were outside, our neighbor showed us the family of baby frogs (40 of them!) living in her window well. Sophie was so excited to hold one and wanted to keep one. It's so fun to see her explore new things.

Plant the raspberries! It's one of the best forms of food storage - I've gotten TONS off my plants this year and they just keep spreading. Woohoo!
I wish you could come to yoga too! They even have a prenatal yoga class. It sounds like you stay busy though. And the baby's room is amazing, I am so impressed. It's so fun to stay updated even if it is through blogging!!!
You guys sound so busy, maybe thats why your pregnancy is flying by so fast, but thats a good thing!!
