SOPHIE'S WILD IMAGINATION

Okay, so the whole earlier naptime thing definitely worked for a couple days (Fri & Sat), but the last couple days (Sun & Today) have been another story. Sophie has a crazy imagination. Yesterday, instead of napping, Sophie was playing with "Kacie" who seems to be a totally made up person, but I'm not sure if it's your full-fledged imaginary friend type. All I know is that Kacie comes in through the window and they play for hours in Sophie's room instead of napping. We attempted to tuck Kacie in too so they could both nap, but it didn't work, so we sent Kacie home. Today, Daddy got Sophie on a Peter Pan kick. It was only 11:30 and Sophie was already starting to lose it, but I needed her to calm down and eat lunch before napping. Thankfully, Daddy works from home and got her to calm down but she was in Neverland. So, naptime was a four hour process. I finally told her John and Micheal and Peter Pan had to go home, so she, Wendy, could sleep. She is a funny girl!

We'll see what tomorrow brings...

Wow, only 30 days! I am down to 67 days left now and am feeling the time crunch myself. I still have to somewhat decorate baby's room (hard to do since the other half of it is the office), finish the quilt, and get this year's Christmas cards made. I definitely know how you feel. So much to do, so little time... and the exhaustion doesn't make things any easier. Good luck getting things done over the next few weeks. Can't wait to meet your new baby!!!
