HEY NEIGHBORS

What do you think about the proposed Eagle Mountain Rec Center? Have you seen this article? I'm totally against the rec center and think we need to wait for our city to grow more. If it's on the ballot, I'm definitely voting no to a proposed tax increase to cover the building costs.

I am VERY against it! I do not want my HOA fees to increase to use something that I probably wouldnt use much. Plus, read the article... I hadnt seen that yet. It is obvious it is not a good idea. And I didnt want it to begin with. If they can build it and pay for it and give people the OPTION to join or go, GREAT. If not... then dont do it! (Sorry, I think it is retarded!)

I agree with Wendy about optional memberships - I would LOVE to have a pool nearby so my kids to take swim lessons w/o going to Lehi or AF, but the cost seems really extreme. Can't they do something more simple/less expensive?
