I'm so glad that DST is this Sunday and that we'll lose an hour. I know...most people enjoy gaining the hour back in the fall, but I'm happy to spring forward because the clock will say 7:20 instead of 6:20 when I'm being woken up by my sweet 26 month old who thinks she no longer needs to sleep 15/24 hours in a day! Yes, 15! Sophie was always the child to sleep from about 7 PM til 8 AM and then take 1-3 hours in naps. NOMO! She thinks since she's in a big girl bed, she needs a big girl schedule. Sometimes she doesn't take a nap and if she does, it's about a three hour long process and huge fight just to get her to sleep. Then, she goes to sleep between 8 and 9 PM and wakes up at 6 something. UGH! Preggers mommy doesn't like it one bit. At least she's getting better playing in the basement while daddy works in his office so mommy can nap. That happened today and it was oh so joyous!!!
Oh, I guess you'll all be glad to know, she doesn't use the binkie anymore. No more binkie talk on my blog for a while.
Lastly, I want to get the word out about my friend Laura's newest service project -
THE PROM BOMB! If you know any high school students in the Utah Valley area, send them to that site. They'll be excited to learn about it!!
PS If you're a Utah mommy, don't forget to weigh in on my summer plans in the post below.

wahoo! i can't wait to spring forward, means that summer is right around the corner and it nice to have the sun up later!!!!
I can't wait for my clock to read 8:30, rather than 7:30! Yay for DST and longer days!
My kids used to be the same...they would sleep super long stretches at night and were trained to wake up at nine...then I don't know what happened...no more sleeping in for me though!
I hate loosing that hour. It messed me up all day yesterday!! Maybe I will get used to it eventually
