MOVING ON!

I really do think if I tried potty training Sophie, she would be successful. But, I don't want to start before the cruise. It will be an easier week for Nana if she doesn't have the added stress of getting the girl to the potty!

What I am thinking of doing before the big trip (which is 49 days away!) is switching Sophie to her big girl bed. And I mean her big girl bed, not her toddler bed. I have a day bed frame, but no twin mattress. Anyone have on they want to get rid of? Sophie will be sleeping in a twin bed at Nana's, so I want her to be used to it. She's not very good at sleeping at other people's houses, so I want to get her as ready as possible for the transition to moving in with the Nanners for a week.

When we get back from the trip, I will hit potty training hard and maybe take away the bink too. Then I'll just pray like crazy that she doesn't regress when baby comes.

What do you think? Any of you have a twin mattress you want us to take off your hands?

We don't have an extra mattress, sorry. But I will say, if it seems like Sophie is having a hard time sleeping in her big girl bed, try putting up a bed rail. She's had 4 rails around her in her crib, so any way to bring that sameness to the big girl bed should help.
