Tonight, we brought home an extra twin bed my mom had in storage. Sophie was super excited. First, we put up the bed next to her crib and asked her which one she wanted to sleep in. She was so giddy about the big bed. So, she helped us put her crib in the baby's room. Daddy and Mommy got in bed with her to read scriptures and pray and then I read her stories in bed. I was going to lay down with her and sing, but she just wanted me to "shh shh shh" her. She was really tired. She didn't want me to leave though, so I stayed in there until she was out. I'm hoping I don't have to do that for too long, but at least the bed is big enough for me to be comfortable too. Now, I'm just hoping she's not up super early! If she is, I'm going to have to try and teach her to read stories in her room for a little while when she wakes up. I better go to bed! I'm sure she'll be up before 7 (let's just hope not before 6!).

Congratulations Sophie! You're moving up in the world with a Big Girl Bed! I miss you and love you very much!
Sophie is such a big girl! Way to go. I hope she doesn't get up in the middle of the night and start playing dress up.
Luke is a WAY early riser. We had to teach him what a 7 was and to stay in his room and play until he saw a 7 on his clock. It worked, fortunately he's smart.
Congrats on the new bed Sophie! Aaron just got a new bed (top bunk) last month. I'm down to one crib again. Yay!
What a fun move to the big girl bed! We are doing that soon too. You'll have to tell me how it goes!
I love your Header it is ADORABLE! You are so talented, and Sophie is so precious!
So fun! I remember when Kort moved into a "big boy bed!" They grow too fast!
Thanks again for all of your help Thurdsay and Friday! Girl, you are ridiculous. I don't know what I would have done if you hadn't shown up!
We need to do lunch and JUST chat since crazy humanitarian events are clearly NOT the best way to go about getting to know each other better! ha ha!
seriously, let's set it up.
