I wasn't going to blog about this until afterward, but I'm so excited for my first prenatal appointment today. I can't wait to find out when this baby is due! Plus I feel great today! My good/bad days are about a 2:1 ratio right now. I've recently fell in love with the alphamom.com week by week pregnancy calendar. This woman is funny and blunt! Sophie continues to express her desire for a sister. I told her I thought a brother named Landon would be fun, but she said, no want brother. Meaning, No, I don't want brother. She never says "don't" just says no before stating the affirmative. I asked Sophie if I have a girl, what her name should be and she said "baby." And reminded me that no, she doesn't want a brother. I wouldn't mind having another girl, especially because it will help even things out. There's 3 boys and 2 girls on my side and the same on Adam's side with his brother expecting a boy, so that will make it 4 and 2. So, maybe a girl is up. But what will we name her? Oh if Adam would just fall in love with the name Ruby Anabelle or Anabelle Ruby or Ruby Olivia. Whatever. Sophie and I will just nickname her Ruby. Everyone is Ruby in our house anyway.
Here's one thing I'm not looking forward to - getting on the scales! I was 117 when I got pregnant and was eating great and exercising. I've been eating a load of crap and not exercising since I've been feeling so crappy. And my boobs are getting bigger. Ah! I fear I've gained 10 pounds. I need to start exercising again. The cellulite on the top of my thighs is showing it's ugly face. Did I mention we're vacationing in St. George soon and totally going swimming? I don't want to look like a heffer in my swimsuit. Sheesh. Give me some energy to exercise.
I'll shut my trap now. I need to get Sophie and I some lunch! Stay tuned for the big due date announcement and of course new tracker on baby's development and Sophie's tracker to age 3. I'll take my first belly shot today and even though my uterus is the size of a grapefruit, I'm sure my gut is about the size of cookies, Rice Krispy Treats and all the other high glycemic food I've been indulging in the last four weeks or so. SICK! So not a baby bump - bad choices bump. I'll probably suck it in for this first shot....hehehe! Okay, really shutting my trap now :)
Have a great day!!!!!!!

You're so funny! I love how open and honest you are about things! Can't wait to see the belly shot!
I love that you can put your weight on your blog. I could NEVER do that. Even at a low I couldn't do it. I guess you have to be cute and little like you to pull that off. When I do triathlons, I qualify to register in the "athena" group, that's code for over 150 lbs. The man version is "clydesdale." How embarassing. If you register as an athena, they put a big "A" on your leg. Nice.
