Today, I'm 9 weeks and 6 days pregnant, give or take 5 days, so baby's projected arrival date is August 27th. I'm starting to feel better and excited to get back into an exercise routine. Thankfully, I've only gained 2 pounds! Baby's heartbeat looks good and my pee looked good. There's not much else to the first visit. This was the first time I've ever gone to the dr and had someone say my blood pressure is about the same as a 6 year old's and asked if I get dizzy when I stand up. I ALWAYS get dizzy when I stand up. Sometimes, it's worse than others. I love my midwife!! She's so great. When we pulled into the parking lot, Adam said run in and check in, I'll get Sophie. I said no Adam, it's not like a Drs office where you sit and wait. She's the only one there and she'll be ready for me. I think he was pleasantly surprised. Who wouldn't be!
I'm really excited for a summer delivery because I'll have an easier time staying active and still have time to get ready for the Halloween 5K, not to mention relaxing in the pool! Ahhh...so much better than being cooped up all winter. Alright, who else is having a baby around the same time?

OKay...I'm not pregnant! But congratulations on finding out how far along you are! I'm glad that this pregnancy has been a bit better! I can't wait for August 27 (give or take 5 days). I want to snuggle with that baby! Love you!
August 30th would be fun, then Tyler and I would always remember the birthday!
Yay for finally finding out your due date!! Those last few months in the summer heat can be tough, but summer babies are still fun. I had Ella August 24th, so maybe our babes will share a birthday...
The 27th of August is Kristal's hubby, Robert's Birthday. So that is a really great day! I am due about a month after you... on October 3rd. How fun! Glad your visit went well and you love your midwife.
I had Cosette on August 24th. The heat is hard when you're pregnant, but you can deal with it by going to the pool and working on your tan. It's also nice to feel weightless in the pool at the end of the pregnancy.
yayy Im so excited for you! I totally want a to be a midwife, wheres yours located?
My midwife is Rebecca Williams - Great Expectations Birthing Center near Fashion Mall. She is her own practice and is licensed to do home births.
The end of August is a perfect time to have a baby, (if you aren't a school teacher) which you are not. I am so glad that you are starting to feel better. I am excited about getting into exercising again too!
Even when i'm not prego my blood pressure is really Low. Same as you, always get dizzy standing up, blackouts if i stand up too quickly.Glad to see i'm not the only one.
