So, many of you recall that I've been training for a 5K. I know I know, sounds laughable to some of you who have been runners, but considering I've NEVER been a runner, I think "training" for a 5K is necessary. I've been running T, W, and TH nights with my friend Jodi (who has ran marathons and is one of the people who think it's funny that people "train" for a 5K). Anyway, WE ROCK!!!! The race is this Saturday night, so last week we had planned to really push ourselves on Wednesday (tonight) to see if we could run the entire thing. First of all, we totally surprised ourselves and did awesome last night - almost ran the entire thing and tonight, we did it with no problems!! So, we're stoked. My goal was to be able to run the entire thing and not feel like I'm dyeing. I wanted to breeze through it and as long as my knee does okay, I'm going to be fine!!!!!!!!!!!! So, I can't wait. I love running :)

WOW! I am so impressed! I would have to train for anything past, oh, half a block or so! You have every reason to be stoked!! Good luck on the upcoming race!

We definately do rock! I have been so excited to have someone to train with. And yes the training did pay off even for a 5K. Thanks for pushing me.
