WHITEWATER RAFTING

Here are a few pics from our rafting adventure.  I think Adam's facial expression in the last one is hilarious.  I was the only one in my boat who hadn't rafted before.  The river wasn't too crazy at this time of year, but our guide knew how to make it more fun.  Our boat was also a little nuts.  The second time down, we got rather wet from battling with other boats.  There were two boats of just our family.  It was a ton of fun.  We went down the same 3 mile stretch twice.  The second time down, we stopped and swam for a little while - jumping off a rock into the current.  The water was freezing, but it was so fun!  We were so lucky.  It was cloudy right before we left and then the sun came out for just the time we were on the river.  It was pouring by the time we got in our cars.  I can't wait to raft again some time when the water is crazier.  I loved it!!

Oh, and I have to add a note about how buff my man is.  Adam bent his first paddle and didn't even realize it for a while.  It was kind of funny.  I guess he's just too strong :)
