UPDATE SCHMUPDATE

Today was one of those days, super good and super bad :( Landon had a horrible night, but I finally have tangible proof that he's been dealing with teething troubles the last month. I very tip of one of his 15 month molars has finally made it through his tough skin. So, I'm exhausted today and I found out my laptop hard drive was complete toast. LESSON: PERIODICALLY BACK UP YOUR HARD DRIVE. I didn't. There goes 2 years worth of EVERYTHING. Thank heavens for Facebook so I'll at least have crappy versions of my kids pictures. I'm heartbroken about it really.

On to the happy part: SNOW!!!! We had so much fun in the snow today. I was out with the kids during the day and we shoveled the snow and started to build a fort. The, when Daddy came home, he was stoked and built an igloo with Sophie's help. It was warmish for a snowy day, so it was nice. No pics, I was just experiencing and enjoying it. Landon finally figured out it's best to keep gloves on. I also put socks on his hands before his mittens. I saved my leftover green bean water from dinner so Sophie can paint her igloo tomorrow. She's going to love it.

Here's a lil update on my kiddos:

Sophie - GROWING like crazy! The girl is so tall. It's sad :( She loves to make up songs that are usually a jumbling of songs she's been singing/hearing lately combined with her make believe. As her Grammy Riggs would say, she lives life out loud. She's super excited for her 4th birthday, although today when I told her to stop growing up, she said, "stupid body won't stop growing." She hates growing pains :)

Landon - Still obsessed with dogs and mimicking his sister more than ever. Such a cutie and full of LOVE! He loves to give kisses, wave to people, and snuggle. He does a pretty good job of cleaning up his messes. And he's always nice when I say "be nice" which I say often because some boys are just born with that inclination to hit and pull hair. He's 15 1/2 months and still doesn't say much, but he's getting better at animal noises and he LOVES to read!
