HAPPY BIRTHDAY L

My baby boy is ONE today. And the poor little guy is having a crummy birthday. We went to the dr. this morning to make sure he didn't have anything more than the typical cold AND flu. Yeah...pretty sure he has both :(

Sophie woke up puking from 4-5 am. Very fun times. In the last week, we've gone through an entire package of diaps for Landon thanks to this little stomach bug. Good news is, I was finally able to open the package of clothe diapers I'm trying out and get them washed and today is our first full day of cloth diaper use. So far, I'm loving it. And he's even having nasty poos today. Lucky me - I have a hand held shower head in my bathroom that is just the perfect length for spraying off diaps into my toilet. Honestly, after going through 60 diapers in a week, I'm so grateful for these cute cloth diaps. I'm doing the trial from Jillians Drawers - basically trying every kind of cloth diapering system for 21 days. I just send back what I don't want to keep for a full refund (minus $10). Totally awesome.

For all you who thought I was nuts - I'm wondering why I didn't do this sooner! My house smells LESS than it did with disposable diapers in the trash can because I stay on top of it better. I'll be washing diaps every night, rather than having them sit in my trash can for a few days. It all feels so much more sanitary.
