LOST FANS?
So, tomorrow, we're cutting off satellite. Adam's never home to watch the tube and most of what I want to watch is available online anyway. So, we're thinking about subscribing to Netflix so we can watch the Lost series. One of my brothers is a huge fan and thinks we should watch it all before we die...hahahaha. What do you think? I'm not talking die-hard watch it non-stop. More like, an episode or two a week. Did you watch Lost? Is it worth it for us to watch the whole thing? Neither of us stayed up on the news about it, so we have no clue what happens. We did catch an episode when we were in Cancun one time during the beginning of the show and liked it, we just never got hooked. Is Netflix the way to go?

I don't know if you will be able to watch just one or two episodes a week!! It is incredibly addicting. I love it. I'm actually in Hawaii now and am going to the beach where it was filmed tomorrow!
I agree with the previous commenter, it's really hard to watch only one episode at a time. Very addicting. But, YES!!! you should watch it. It is amazing.
Adam and I watched the first 2 and a half seasons and then got too frustrated with it to continue. But if you are more patient than we are I'm sure it's great.
Still, Netflix is totally the way to go! There are tons of movies and shows you can stream, including tons of kids shows/movies plus the movies you can have sent. I'd never willingly give up my Netflix
We LOVE LOVE LOVE Lost. We watched the first few seasons on DVD (to catch up) and then watched the rest in real time. We made a rule -- only one disc (3 episodes, I think) per night. It's very addicting. I love Netflix! You can also watch ALL of Lost on Hulu.com. Like you, we are also going to cut our cable to save money (now that the World Cup is over). We can plug our laptop into our LCD and watch online stuff on our big screen or watch DVDs from Netflix. Netflix also has tons of stuff on demand that you can watch instantly on your computer.
LOOOVVVVEE Lost! I think we're going to do the same with the sat. We don't have time to watch it much and would love if the kids couldn't as much as they do.
Its good! With the rent 1 video netflix deal they offer, you will only be able to watch 2 a week IF they come on time. The upgrade is to have 2 movies at a time... it will just make you watch more. Fun show. I think its a good one to watch, but I also think youre not missing much if you stay away! ;)
Even without the Lost aspect, Netflix is totally worth it. BUT with Lost, it's amazing. You don't have commercials and you don't have to wait. Also, you may say you would only watch 1 or 2 episodes, but trust me - you will get hooked. I don't know what Becki is talking about. :D
We have netflix and just stream the shows (they have all the seasons of Lost) so we can watch as many as we want in a week. I started watching Lost by myself and thought it was a little scary (yes, I'm a wimp). I'm trying to get Grove to watch it with me. Netflix is great for streaming kid shows too. I agree that most of the shows I want to watch are available online. Except American Idol. I miss Idol.
