I know ya'll love free stuff. This month, I'm doing a Summer Slimdown on Healthy Mom's Kitchen and I have giveaways lined up for each week. Take advantage of my website infancy and small number of followers to get some freebies! I have some really fun things coming that you'll love! It's all free and you can learn a little bit about this low glycemic eating I'm always raving about :)
In Adam news - BUSY. Did I tell you he is now working like a madman? He quickly went from no work to way too much work. He is working full-time at Associated Foods doing their weekly print and online ads. He gets to work in Salt Lake at 7 AM, takes just a half hour break so he can be home by 4:15. Then, he's out the door three hours later and teaches Photoshop and Advanced Photoshop at Provo College in American Fork Mon-Thurs nights. He gets home at about 10:30 just in time to crash. He's still wrapping up some freelance work and is still in the Elders Quorum presidency at church so he has a lot on his plate. He's amazing though and handling it well. We're so grateful to have work and to be able to provide for our family. I'm grateful for a husband who willing to do whatever it takes.
In Landon news - ADORABLE! This kid makes me smile all day long. He just does the cutest little things. He's up to about 8 steps at the most, but crawling is still his preferred method of transportation. He is all boy - balls, cars, wrestling, chasing, and peek-a-boo. He absolutely loves the water and is a crazy man when he's within a few feet of water. He wants to jump in! He's a giggle monster and loves to mimic us.
Sophie is my little SWEETS. "sweet" really sums her up. She's friends with everyone and makes everyone feel loved. She is kind with both her words and gestures. She loves to cuddle and is so full of gratitude and compliments. This afternoon, she had friends over to play in the basement and they did really great for about 45 minutes and then after 15 minutes of making each other cry, I told them it was time to end the playdate. Her friend told her I was a "bad mom" and she was so upset. We had a good little talk about the rules of playing - not making each other cry and that good loving moms put an end to the meanness and crying. I was really glad that she stood tall and wasn't influenced by a friend saying I was a bad mom.
We have been exploring new places this summer - fallen in love with the Lindon pool, explored Bridal Veil Falls and Kamas and Sophie's been enjoying her Let's Play Music classes. We need to get back to Thanksgiving Point soon. Anyone up for a Farm Country date?
I'm off to get laundry done before Adam gets home. Cheers.
