ORGANIZATION

So, you know how when you move into a house, some things just get thrown in the most random places because you have no idea where to put them?

Well, we've lived in this house for three years - this August. Over the last few years I've figured out the best place for most things. And then there's that one closet....

After reading these five steps to organization and seeing this tutorial, I was finally inspired to tackle THE closet.

And so, the contents of said closet have taken up residence for the last week or so in the hallway as I try to make the boxes from the tutorial. And guess what, the boxes are DONE!!!! Well, they are drying. Maybe by next weekend, I'll have stuff in them and they will be in the closet. Lets hope anyway. I feel like I can't clean my house until this stinking project is OVER!

To reiterate - yes, I did say I'm d.o.n.e. with craftiness for a long long long while, which means that I will not, I repeat, will not, be looking at any of you craftiness blogs that try to lure me into the world of Modge Podge and sewing needles, only to come to the conclusion once again that I should stick to business.

And then, I will retire my craft skills (or the lack thereof) and be done organizing my home (except for the kids clothes - which at minimum gets done twice a year). And, thanks to the wonderful hints, tricks, tips, MAGIC of Linn Allen, my home will remain organized forever more.
