Landon Update

You can always find him behind a door.

Lately, I absolutely adore my kids. I love each of them individually, but there is nothing sweeter than seeing them interact. Landon thinks Sophie is the coolest thing on the planet and it's the greatest thing as a mom to see how much he already loves her. He giggles his head off when playing "bally-bally-bally" with her. Don't ask me why Sophie calls it that. I sit on the floor behind Landon and Sophie sits across from us, our feet connecting and we roll the ball back and forth. Sometimes I wonder if he's just giggling because Sophie is, or if it's the ball coming back to him that is so funny.

Landon's first two teeth have broken through the surface. I feel like his smile has already changed. He has thick green snot, a cough, and is a bit feverish. He's taking great naps though. I am excited for a break from teething.

Can you see the two teeth broken through on bottom?

Landon is now pulling himself up to standing. I knew pretty quickly that what was baby proof for Sophie was not going to cut it for this curious little boy. I was right. Now that he's able to reach higher, I need to find new places for some things. He loves to roll balls and chase them. He's often in a downward dog position. I fear he will be walking much earlier than Sophie did. Watch out!! Here comes my little bruiser. He's so wobbly right now, he bonks his head often. I worry his little brain will get damaged. I'm hoping he'll get better balance as he gets stronger.

Not a great pic, but you can see him standing.

I think its normal for boys to have lots of bruises. Ben always has some wound of some sort on his head from where he dove for something or fell into something. With it being warm outside he has scraped up knees and feet as well. Boys are definitely into more things. Good Luck!

Oh you'll want to watch out for that white piece on the door stop. Benson figured out how to get it off and it went straight in the mouth.
