I finished the book tonight. I watched the movie Hotel Rwanda, so I was easily able to visualize the story and while you might think that the book would be depressing, it's incredibly inspiring. The subtitle is Finding God Amidst the Rwandan Holocaust and the book focuses on her relationship with God. She gives account after account of visualizing things as if they'd already happened and they do end up happening (Wayne Dyer calls this the Power of Intention and co-creating life with God). By the way, I'm a huge fan of Wayne Dyer and that's partly the reason I read the book. If you struggle with the reality that faith can move mountains, this is the book for you. It will turn you into a believer and strengthen your faith in faith itself. That's all I'm going to say. Just go get the book already. My mom's first to borrow my copy.
