I BOUGHT THE BUMBO

Got it. He's still a wee bit little in it, but likes it for a little while. Yeah...I have a really hard time waiting until Christmas. Don't worry. I haven't given Sophie any of her Christmas presents yet.

Another Cancun pic fix for ya:
This, ladies and gentlemen, is a banewshew (ba-new-shoe). Don't ask me where on earth Sophie came up with that word, but she kept asking one night at dinner, "Mom, where is the banewshew?" We're like thinking what the heck?!?! She was so hyper that night and silly, couldn't sit still. In fact, we told her to leave the dining area and go dance around for a while. It was hilarious. Then she spots a banewshew and ran after him. SO funny!!

Her other new word is hometel (home + hotel). She kind of freaked out the night we arrived. After 5 hours on the plane, we quickly got our luggage, spotted our driver and walked quickly to the van that was transporting us to the resort. You know Mexican drivers go at lightning speed. So, I think she was just freaked out. We ran off the plane and into this crazy traffic. She started sobbing and said she wanted to go home and we told her we were going to our home for the week at Casa Maya. She chilled out once she saw the cozy place we'd call home for the week. Whew.
