09/09/09 is a huge day for some of my fellow Mommy business partners. They are launching a site called 5000Moms.com and I promise you, it's going to be the next BIG thing for moms on the web. I want to help them get as much exposure as they can, so here is how you can get entries for the giveaway.
1) Go to their Facebook page and become a fan. Leave me a comment letting me know you've done so.
2) Visit their blog and leave a comment on my blog letting me know which post is your favorite or which one you could relate to most.
3) Blog about this giveaway on your blog (be sure I have your blog addy, so I can see!).
Options 1-3 are worth 1 entry each. For an additional 5 entries, visit their site, 5000Moms.com after they've gone live on 09/09/09 at 9 AM Mountain Time and let me know what you think about the project. Is it something that could benefit you as a mom?
Now, while this site is dedicated to moms, I believe it can also be of benefit to young women preparing to be mothers, so if you haven't yet become a mother, no sweat, you can still participate.
Oh, you want to know what I'm giving away? I can't decide. Something to the tune of $50 (retail value) of USANA product - anything your heart desires! Not familiar with their products - go HERE to make your wish list.
Giveaway ends on Friday at midnight.
Good luck!

Hey Nish! How fun is this! I joined the group and left a comment. I can't wait to read more and dive into the website. You can expect more comments from me :) I hope all is well with Landon! He looks fantastic.
I am now a fan on FB and comment #1 under the video on their blog
I joined a group, but there wasnt anywhere I found to become a fan... Looks cool though! I liked "Mommy Move" and "Magnificence of Women" on teh blog. Those are great stories to relate too!
You are so amazing Nisha and such a fabulous support!
I liked the Friday, August 21, 2009 blog, "I Feel Cranky Today" by Ganel-Lyn. This site reminds me a little of "Parenting" magazine, but focused more on moms. Good advice--I think the soul searching is something I need to do more of...
I loved the post about yoga and transition because I can relate to both yoga and the transition. Not much of sending kids to school but transition of roles in my life. :)
This is my last entry, promise :) I wrote about your giveaway on my blog!!!
Okay Nisha, here goes. I became a fan on Facebook. Also, I visited their blog and the post I relate to most is the post about how exercise can lift your mood during the day, even if you haven't been running enough to have reached your weight loss goals. I'm passionate about exercise already, but that is always a good reminder. I visited the 5000moms website. I can't totally figure it out yet. I would say I am most interested in hearing from the "home" woman, probably because I am setting up my own home now and I spend so much time here. I am most interested in what she has to say, probably because I'm not a mom yet and so I can't relate too much to the other posters.
OK Nisha...I finally got around to reading the website and it looks fantastic. I became a fan on Facebook and my favorite article on the blog was about Magnificent Women by Andrea Palmer (I liked her name, J/K) On the site my favorite section was Home Essentials and I like the article My Philosophy. I'm always trying to figure out how to balance my life (date night included). I know I need to read the Body Essentials part and get exercising, but I'm still stubborn in that area :)
So how does it work if I sign up on the site? Do they send emails? or do I need to visit the site regularly still to see updated articles? What's your involvement? Are you a team member? Am I asking too many questions?
I'm a fan on facebook
My favorite post is the one on the magnificence of women. I also like the mommy move post.
I like the blog. I liked that it was positive and yet real at the same time. I also liked all the areas that they were addressing--it seemed very wise and balanced.
I wasn't so sure about their website, it seemed suspiciously similar to a pyramid scheme, but I did like the concept behind what they were doing.
