BABY'S ROOM

Baby's room is finally becoming a reality! I'm so excited for this HUGE project and hope it doesn't get overwhelming. I just ordered this crib sheet from Pottery Barn Kids:Next, I need to:
1) Buy fabric and make curtains, a blanket and a crib skirt.
2) Buy a curtain rod.
3) Choose one solid color to go on walls (thinking a yellow)
4) Choose which characters to mural on the wall and get paint and projector transfers ready
5) Get all the furniture out of the room and go to town painting
6) Get these quotes in vinyl lettering to put on the wall
"A person's a person, no matter how small."
"Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the things you can think up if only you try!"
"Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You."
"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go."
7) Put furniture back in room.

Anything I'm forgetting? I'm definitely not an artist and not sure exactly how things will end up looking on the walls. I for sure want to do Horton (the elephant) since Sophie loves her elephant and the Cat in the Hat (because I want as much red, yellow, and blue as I can get). I'm going to do fun Seussish trees and a few more characters. Any tips or suggestions for me?

That is such a cute idea for your baby's room. I love it! I'm not doing anything fancy for my nursery just because our basement isn't finished so we just don't have the space right now. Brooklyn will share her room with the office for a while. However, If she had the room all to herself I would go to town.

You are so ambitious! I can't wait to see the finished project! Do you have a projector to use? If you don't I have one you can borrow.

Lets get started! I am excited. P.S. we found a house online today that is the same model as the one we put an offer on only this one is NOT a short sale. Wish us luck, we are going to look at it today. Maybe I won't need your help painting.
