SO BLESSED!

The longer I live in my neighborhood and get to know my friends and neighbors, the more amazed I am at the people they are. We are surrounded by AMAZING examples! Sophie is blessed as well to have so many sweet children around who love her and are the type of kids I want her to be like. It took us a long time to get to know people here and it wasn't very fun to not have friends, but I've realized the reason is because everyone is so dedicated to their families. We've really grown to love so many people here and I think we might just stay a long time!!! I can look beyond the imperfections in my house because I love the people. I know I'm a better mom and wife because of these wonderful people who inspire me and teach me to be better.

On a similar note....I'm so blessed to have my husband. What an amazing MAN! He gave the best Mothers Day talk ever yesterday. I'm really grateful he had to talk in church. He's not one of those mushy guys who expresses public affection/appreciation for his wife, but he let me know how much he appreciates mothers and ME yesterday. All the talks in Sacrament Meeting were so good yesterday and Relief Society was perfect. We ended the day spending time at my moms house with all my family. After Hilary and her kids left, we all sat in the piano room and Sophie sang to everyone. She is so kind and sweet and gentle and LOVES everyone in my family so much. Being her Mommy is the best thing in the world!

I am so glad you had a great Mother's Day. I thought of you yesterday and hoped that you were. I had a great weekend too, yes at our house Mother's Day is more like Mother's Day weekend. I am so very blessed to be a mom, to have the children I do and I am FOREVER grateful to all those who brought me my most precious blessings. ( =

Yes we do have a great neighborhood and great people! We got burned today by the way, I guess I was right in thinking I should have put sunscreen on! :)

Adam did do a great job on his talk. It was sweet to hear his admiration for you. Also, I know how you feel about the neighborhood. I just love spring time when everybody is out with their kids and enjoying our surroundings. I don't want to leave, BUT I LOVE THAT HOUSE!!! AHHHHH!
