PRENATAL APPOINTMENT TODAY

Well, I had my 22 week check up today. I got to do the lovely glucose test (yippee! NOT). That stuff is insta-headache for me and I wanted to ask her if I could go make myself throw up after she took my blood. Ick! I only gained 5 pounds in the last four weeks!!! I wonder if Adam gained more on the cruise...hahahaha. So, I'm up to 18 pounds. They say at this point, you're supposed to gain a pound a week. Let's just say I'm going to keep doing lots of walking and healthy eating. 36 pounds is way to much to gain and I'm already fearing this baby is going to be really big since I'm going all natural which means I'll probably deliver LATE!

We peaked at baby again and MAY have seen a penis. We can't be sure though. I'm not kidding you, this baby does not sit still. I might go to JoAnns this Saturday to look at fabric for the baby's curtains and crib skirt, which I'm going to make. I think I decided to can doing a bumper because let's face it, I don't even know how to use my sewing machine and bumpers are totally pointless. hahaha! I may just order the Dr. Seuss crib sheet right NOW!!! I recently discovered that my reward points for the American Express can be used to get gift cards to Pottery Barn. SWEET!!! Especially because Adam doesn't want to spend money on baby's room. I guess I should probably wait to buy fabric for the other stuff until the crib sheet comes so I can make sure it matches, but at least I can go price material and get an idea for what I want. Maybe it will inspire me to watch the DVD tutorial on my sewing machine.

Hey! Congrats on another baby! I swear I had planned on spending time with your family when I moved out here and now all I know of anyone is your facebook and now blog, how sad! That is so fun you are making things for your baby's room. Have you ever heard of Amy Butlers book Little Stitches? I am not expecting or planning anytime soon but I got it because it has so many cute things. If you want to borrow it you are more than welcome!
