So, I'm 23 weeks today. Pregnancy wise, I've been feeling great for a while now. 2nd trimester is bliss. Most of the time, I love feeling baby grow and move inside of me. At other times, I kind of dislike the little thing in there taking over my body and get nervous about the fact that the one foot baby inside me still has 17 weeks to grow and nearly double in height and gain 7 or 8 more pounds. YIKES! 17 weeks sounds like so few compared to the 23 I've already come. I can't believe tomorrow is May 1st. I only have 4 months of pregnancy left. 4 months sounds like a lot, but we know it flies. My walk route I take with my friends is starting to make me more winded. I can tell my belly is getting heavier. If I would go to bed earlier and if Sophie would sleep in at all, I would feel like a child-bearing goddess, full of exuberance and joy.
In other topics of motherhood, yesterday was a great day to be a mom. Sophie started the morning snuggling and loving me and talking to our baby and sharing toys with baby (putting them on my belly). She's starting to talk about baby coming out. I think she's getting excited. Sophie was happy all day and the crazy energetic two year old I love. Which was welcome. The day before, she was a tired emotional wreck. Wow, sleep is valuable!
Yesterday, we explored the new WalMart that opened 7 minutes from our house. I never knew I would enjoy shopping at WalMart so much. I'm sure I'll come to hate it eventually, but for now, it feels spacious and they have plenty of associates working to ensure organization, a clean atmosphere, and speedy checkout. They even have a kid size sink in the bathroom, which I will enjoy when my belly is huge and I don't have to lift my toddler to wash her hands. I bought an over the door pocket organizer to go in my pantry to store all my school supply type items. Before this organizer, these things were kept in so many various places. Now there is one central location. Sophie discovered her markers in there this morning and her colored pencils in a new plastic container and she giggled her head off that they were in the same place and that they now have a place. She was excited to put the pencils away and to begin coloring with the markers. It goes to show that kids enjoy order and organization in their lives! And me, I LOVE IT! With the combination of nesting and Springtime, I'm trying not to come up with too many projects, but I also think for house sake, I should take advantage of my desire to scrub the top of my dusty refrigerator and do whatever other random stuff I can't get my mind off of.
What's the craziest "nesting" project you've ever undertaken?

I love your new layout...it's so cute! Good for you, braving the crowds to visit the new Walmart. I almost went there myself, but couldn't find an opening through the traffic to get into the parking lot. Stupid road constructions!!! I did however enjoy a quiet shopping trip to Smiths.
Pretty sure our craziest nesting project was gutting Luke's nursery back to the studs and starting over with new drywall, new electrical, new can lights, new everything. He was pretty worth it all. ( =
You must have changed some of your setting. Now I get notice that you posted again. Yay!
Time is flying girl!
Cute picture layout at the top! Yes, I LOVE the new Walmart and I'm so happy it's finally open :)
I don't think I had crazy nesting projects, other than decorating the nursery. Which reminds me, are we going to make your baby quilt. I have a coupon for JoAnns that is good this week! We could pick up a little bit of fabric at a time. 40% off each piece of fabric is a good deal!
