WE'RE HOME

We spent all day Friday and Saturday in St. George.  It was 82 on Friday and about 77 on Saturday.  Adam golfed with my brother and uncle as soon as we arrived on Friday.  Sophie and I had dinner with my Aunt Cheri and Corinne at a restaurant called 25 Main that my friend's have raved about.  It was all they chalked it up to be.  My Aunt doesn't even like cake, but said she'd move to St. George for those cupcakes!  They were AMAZING!!!  I'm glad I don't live there.  I might go to 25 Main too often.  After that, we ran to get groceries, made dinner for the boys and took Sophie swimming.  She had a ball!  She totally eats up being the only little one around.  Everyone dotes over her all the time.  She got to bed pretty late.  She was so wound up, but thank heavens, she slept in until 8!  YAY!  Saturday morning, we hiked the mountain behind our condo and played around the condo neighborhood.  Sophie had a blast throwing rocks in the little water feature they had in front of the clubhouse and skipping around and singing with Nana.  We went shopping at the outlets looking for a great deal on shorts for Sophie with no luck.  I think outlets are overrated.  No good deals at all!  We ate lunch at Durangos, which is like Cafe Rio, but I think I actually liked it better.  Too bad they don't have one up here.  After that, we headed to the temple for John (my cousin) and Alex's endowment and sealing.  By the time we got out, it was 7:45 PM, so we went through a drive-thru and headed home.  Daddy got us home safely just before midnight.  Mommy and Sophie slept the whole way home and Sophie slept in a little bit today. YAY!!

There is a lot to St. George that I've never seen.  I wouldn't mind spending a week there some time to walk around and explore and soak up the sun and swim!  I wish we would've stayed longer.

I'll post pics soon.  My camera batteries are hiding, so I used other people's cameras on the trip.  We didn't take many photos, but got a few fun shots of Sophie.

I am excited to hear what you are having! Good luck with your potty training. I'll have to read that book you are reading.. next on my list
