Adam woke up early today due to an aching stomach. It was NOT just the normal puke feeling. His stomach hurt so bad he couldn't go up or down stairs without stopping. A few weeks ago he had a similar feeling that kept him in bed all day, so today, we thought he better get to the doctor in case it was something serious building up. The doctor thought it could possibly be early signs of appendicitis and did some blood work and ended up sending him to the hospital. Luckily, Sophie fell asleep on the way to the hospital. We didn't have her binkie. She was eating some candy and actually fell asleep while putting a piece in her mouth, hands and mouth covered in red stickiness. Poor girl was exhausted! Luckily, I was able to sit in the parking lot with her while she slept for an hour. (I KNEW I should've grabbed my book!) It gave me time to put cds away and clean out some trash. Then we went into the hospital where we were for about another hour while Adam got a CT Scan and waited for the doctor to call back with the results. Sophie and I entertained ourselves in the gift shop/snack bar. Turns out, thankfully!, that it's just a really bad GI infection, so he's on a clear liquids diet and we're praying that whatever it is, Sophie and I don't get it!!!

Yucky!! I had no idea. Is ther eanything we can do for you? Does Sophie want to come and play? Let us know and tell Adam we hope he feels better
