So, just disregard this if you are not a diaper changing momma. Sophie's been a Pampers/Luvs baby her whole life, but during this last trip to COSTCO, we couldn't pass up the coupon on Huggies diapers and wipes. It seemed like a great deal, except I think Sophie has a stinky crotch from them. Is that weird? I don't think it's my pregnancy nose, I really think the girl stinks. Have you ever switched diapering products and had your kids smell differently? I don't know if it's the diapers or the wipes. One of my friends kids who's diaper I've changed a few times stinks too (in my opinion) and she uses the same diapers. I thought it was different kid, different pee, but now I'm thinking it's Huggies.

That's so funny! I've never noticed a change in smells...but now I'm going to have to pay attention!
I have noticed lots of things when we've tried Huggies. My girls have pretty much always worn Luvs or pampers. My issue with Huggies: they don't hold as much as the other 2 brands, the tabs rip off easier making the diaper unusable, the girls always figured out how to pee out the sides, and yes they do stink after wearing them. I've decided all my kids will either wear pampers or luvs, nothing else.
Both my kids have worn huggies from the time of birth. I have to say that I don't have any complaints. Maybe the smell is just from the switch to different diapers. I know that I tried different wipes than Kirkland brand once and Braden got a huge rash from them. I just think that every kid and brand is different. Sorry for the smell, that's no fun!
Pampers & Luvs are both scented - that's why I love them so much. Could that be why???
I have used huggies with all three of my kids and haven't had any problems with that before. In fact, I've never really had a problem with them except they seem to leak more with Sydnee, maybe thats because I forget to change her! OOPS!
