JUST A LITTLE TOO MUCH!

In the past four months or so, two of my friends lost baby girls (16 months and 4 months), we learned of two more young girls with Leukemia (we already live close to quite a few), a girl in the neighborhood next to us - healthy, age 6, caught the flu and died.  All young healthy girls with heartbroken mothers.  So, I can't help but just want to stay in bed and cry when my mom calls today to let me know that my cousin Haley went in for a mysterious blood transfusion today.  She's been lethargic and having migraines the last few weeks and the doctors have had her on different antibiotics with no success.  Her Dad insisted on blood work and they finally did it to find out her blood count is at a 5.  They called my aunt and uncle and said, go get Haley and bring her in for a blood transfusion right away!  AHHHHH!!!!  Maybe it's my pregnancy hormones but I think it's more just motherhood in general.  I can't get through an Extreme Makeover Home Edition without crying.  What is it about being a Mom that makes us so incredibly sympathetic?  I'm sure it is a blessing because it helps us feel what others are going through and be better friends and there for them, but sometimes it feels like too much to handle.  I'm just grateful for administering angels and eternal families that help us get through these times.  If you could have a prayer in your heart for Haley, I would appreciate it!!

That is so sad. I know what you mean though being a mom makes you much more sympathetic/empathetic to other moms.
I never heard about a girl in our neiborhood dying from the flu. Who was it.

Oh my. I can't read this. That makes me so sad. WHy? All these special spirits need to come in the last days to get their bodies and then be taken away. Oh man, I always worry about stuff like this. Lukemia seems so common now days. What is the cause? SEriously. I will pray for your cousin
