NEW NEIGHBORS

Sophie and I made friends with a new family in the neighborhood at the park yesterday. I want to take them something to welcome them into the neighborhood, but don't want to bake anything as I am trying to steer clear of sugar and white flour. Anyone have any fun suggestions?

Do you have one of your cute picture frames? Or what about a bowl with popcorn and an invite to come watch a movie at your house?

You could give them a smelly candle.

I have this non-baking dilemma too, for different reasons of course. Have you been to Lehi bakery next to Pioneer Party? A package of rolls costs about $3.50. It's something that looks & smells homemade, but I don't have to gluten myself...It's worth it to me...they also have eclairs, donuts, & cinnamon rolls if you want to go for something sweet.
Pioneer Party also has some small inexpensive gifty stuff...chocolate-covered cinnnamon bears, etc.
I've also gone for flowers or a small inexpensive plant...
those are my ideas...

I bake fresh milled wheat bread and deliver it warm with a little tub of Land O Lakes butter. People seem to like that. I have a simple speedy recipe that always turns out good if you want it.

You are so sweet...I forgot to do this. But it is a nice welcome to the neighborhood. I like all the suggestions already. Keep it simple.
