1. Playing "chase" with Sophie and Adam (we all end up worn out and giggly)
2. Trying new things - food, new places (particularly outdoors), etc.

4. Ranches Housekeeping - what could make a woman more happy than a clean house she didn't have to sweat for :)
5. Spending time with family and friends
FEARS:
1. Something happening to Sophie
2. Something happening to Adam
3. Something happening to my parents
4. Something happening to my siblings or their kids
5. My grandparents passing away.
(obviously, I don't fear much. I'm overly optimistic and confident about everything, but I do fear losing someone I love)
CURRENT OBSESSIONS:
1. Teaching Sophie the alphabet
2. Becoming a Platinum Pacesetter
3. Helping others (current and permanent obsession)
4. Running with Annelise (I can't imagining running alone)
5. trying new low-glycemic recipes
SURPRISING FACTS:
1. I'm a birthmom and an advocate for adoption.
2. I worked for a few years at the Center for the Study of Elections and Democracy and to be honest, I'm totally apathetic towards politics...believe it or not, I FAILED! American Government in College. There's a perfectly good explanation for it, but it's true (lol).
3. I almost did the Mrs. Utah United States Pageant last year. I have a few really good friends that have done it and I might do it in the future when the timing is right. Anyone want to do it with me?
4. I'm somewhat a feminist, particularly in the sense that I think we woman deserve to have our cake and eat it too. (Translation: I think women should be able to have a great career and be a great mom. I think the two can go hand in hand).
5. Apparently, some of my friends think I'm a Molly Mormon, Goody Two Shoes Saint, which may not be a surprise to you, if you're one of them, but it comes as a surprise to me.

For the record, I'm not one of those who thought you were Molly Mormon. ;) Had a hunch you thought I was one of those people. I just couldn't picture you sneaking out is all! I was surprised to learn that you worked w/ political stuff since you never talk about it. The fact that you're bored with it probably explains why! BTW, I love the new blog look! At first it reminded me of the girls' pants from Gymboree! Probably why I like it so much! =)
