CALLING ALL DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKERS

I've decided I AM going to start digital scrapbooking, but I've got a learning curve to get over though!  I want to do this as efficiently as possible.  I'm certainly not one for figuring things out if there's an easier way.  So, if you are a digital scrapbooker, give me your tips!  So far, I know of Summer Driggs blog with free kits and Shabby Princess Scrapbooking.  Tell me of other websites with cute free layouts.  I also need to know the best way to do layouts.  We have Adobe CS3, but if there is an easier way than doing layouts in Photoshop, I need to know.  I'm totally an ameteur at PS.  I want to print books at least every 2 years with pics and stories for Sophie, so I need to know how to do that too.  I'm not opposed to buying some software to help with this task, but if I'm going to spend money, I want it to be the best.  THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP!!

Lumapix or PhotoFusion is a great layout program. It's limitless and they have a great community area with lots of ideas! www.lumapix.com

I wish I had some knowledge in this area too. All my digital stuff is done using Microsoft Word. Although it's more expensive I like to make my scrapbooks the old-fashioned way. But a digital scrapbook does sound like fun. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

check out twopeasinabucket.com they have some cute stuff. Also when I scrapbook online I like to just start with a blank page in photoshop and create the whole thing. It's fun to just make your bordes or whatever, and if you scan or open any embellishment in there, you can change the color, etc. Good luck! Post some pages when you get them!

I work with a guy whose wife is big into it. He said to go to photoyoga.com and there should be a link for dusty footprints or something to that effect

Okay, I admit, this web site can be overwhelming, but she finds all the freebies for you and I get leads to other great sites.

I love templates too. You just group the paper with the shapes in the template. So fast.

I just found this - haven't explored it much but I plan to in the next few weeks.

I have some scrapbooking software - it's a CD that I got a while back. I'll have to get it back out and see what's on it. It's probably not as current as what's online.
Digital scrapbooking is one of my abandoned projects at the moment...I got into it b4 Grove worked for Stampin Up. Now I have real scrapbooking materials coming out of my ears & haven't made time to put them to use...
So many fun things to do...so little time!
