OFF TO VEGAS

We're heading off to Vegas tomorrow morning to spend a few days with Star and Roland and their one year old Maple.  Star and Roland are our dear friends from the condos in Springville where we both lived before we moved to Eagle Mountain and they moved to Reno NV.  We've only seen them once since they moved (the day we moved into our house, they came down to Utah).  We're staying at Treasure Island and planning to get lots of pool and relax time.  Stay tuned for pics!

In other Riggs Family News - I found out yesterday that instead of serving in the nursery at church (nursery is where the kids from 18 months to 3 years go), I will be the 2nd counselor in the Primary Presidency (primary is where the 4-11 year olds go during church).  It's a calling that comes with a lot of responsibility and a lot of meetings, but I think I'm more worried about leaving my baby girl in nursery!  We've had the luxury of being in there together for the last couple months.  I started taking her in when she was about 16-months to get her used to it and because she was being way too social and squirmy in the adult classes.  I'm grateful that Grammy Riggs will be in town for her first week in there without me.  I have a hunch that Grammy would love to go in there with her!
