NEW FUN GOALS!

I've been feeling crummy the last week as a result of allergy problems accumulating since we moved to Eagle Mtn. So, I didn't make any progress on any of my goals, was a grumpy and tired mom, and completely felt lazy, disempowered, and unmotivated. Depressing.

So, today I was checking out the lose and win free jeans blog for new posts and sure enough I found my fuel to get back up on my feet. I decided to start the 100 push up challenge tomorrow and in the Fall, I'm going to do Couch to 5 K and run a Halloween 5K on October 25th at 7 PM (I hear everyone dresses up and the run even goes through a cemetery...spooky). I've always had a goal to become a runner (some day) and I started a walking group in my neighborhood about two months ago. One day after our walk, a couple of us tried to do pull-ups at the park while our kids were playing and we were rather pathetic, so I thought it would be fun if our walking group had a few goals to work towards (besides just getting there every morning and walking every day through the hot summer!). So, I'm really excited for these new fitness challenges and looking forward to buff arms and leaner legs. I've found that if I'm motivated in one aspect of my life, it flows into other aspects (business, spiritual, personal, family, etc.) so, I'm ready to take on the week!

Wow girl...you seriously inspire me! I remember when I use to be in shape and was constantly doing things like this...sigh.... Someday!

That's awesome! Good for you! You'll have to let me know how your push ups go. Come show me when you can do 100!
